Position: Pollution Control Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Pollution Control Officer to oversee the plant's environmental compliance and pollution control measures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the plant adheres to environmental regulations, implements effective waste management practices, and maintains the proper operation of pollution control facilities.


Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or any related field
  • Must be a certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and have completed Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) training
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in environmental management or a related role
  • In-depth knowledge of pollution control laws, waste management and disposal practices, and DENR compliance standards
  • Strong skills in monitoring and reporting, record-keeping, problem-solving, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Willing to stay in the farm (Bukidnon area)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain liaison with city, provincial, municipal, or local pollution control authorities.
  2. Supervise and ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the plant's pollution control facilities.
  3. Conduct regular monitoring and prepare required government reports such as Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR) and Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMR).
  4. Stay updated on technological advancements and regulatory updates related to pollution prevention, control, and abatement.
  5. Ensure the plant's full compliance with environmental laws, policies, and other government-mandated requirements.
