Position: Pest Control Officer – Feedmill

Location: Tablon, Cagayan de Oro

Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Officer to implement and maintain effective pest management programs within the Feedmill Department. The role ensures a clean, safe, and compliant working environment by monitoring pest activity, applying appropriate control measures, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.


Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Agriculture, Environmental Science, Animal Science, Industrial Technology, or any related course
  • With at least 1–2 years of experience in pest control, sanitation, or related roles (manufacturing or feedmill experience is an advantage)
  • Knowledgeable in pest management techniques, sanitation procedures, and safe use of chemicals/pesticides
  • Familiar with regulatory standards such as Food Safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and HACCP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor pest control schedules and programs within the Feedmill facility
  • Inspect production areas, storage facilities, and surrounding environments to detect signs of pest activity
  • Apply safe and effective pest control treatments, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines
  • Maintain and update pest control records, reports, and documentation required for audits and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct awareness training for staff on pest prevention practices and sanitation standards
  • Recommend improvements in pest control strategies to support product safety and plant cleanliness
