Purpose of Role:In support of the SAP Build Manager, this role ensures the consistent implementation of SAP application development and configuration standards across both DDCs. It facilitates efficient, effective, and consistent Release and Deployment processes, ensuring quality at the front end.

The role also supports Continuous Improvement CRs and Defect CRs to achieve their objectives on time and in line with standards. The location ensures build management capabilities are available in both DDC time zones. ERP & DMSJoin our dynamic ERP & DMS team, the operational backbone driving Inchcape's operations forward.

We provide Principal Support, lead technology rollout implementations, and build strategic partnerships with industry leaders such as SAP, COUPA, INCADEA, and SuccessFactors. Job Roles and Responsibilities:Communicate and implement Platform application Development and Configuration standards, identifying opportunities for improvement using tools like ATC, Code Inspector, Solution Manager ChaRM.Ensure process assurance during releases, and compliance with best practices and quality standards for all DDC consultants and third-party project teams. Review transport request lists, evaluate DGP warnings, and provide guidance to ensure environment alignment through version control. Support QA checks and validations for Major Releases, working with Project and Build Management to ensure quality standards and facilitate successful CAB processes.

Monitor and support transport Retrofit processes across SAP landscapes. Conduct periodic audits of QA Checklists and configurations, escalating issues and providing training as needed. Ensure proper implementation of the Transport of Copies (ToC) methodology, guiding colleagues as necessary.

Qualifications:Excellent English communication skills; Spanish skills are a plus. Strong functional and development knowledge in FI, MM, SD modules.4 years of ABAP experience (classic and OO), including SAP HANA coding. Experience with SAP QA tools such as Code Inspector, ABAP Test Cockpit, ATC, and Call Monitor.
