Accounting Close - Fixed Asset Specialist - Senior Analyst

Senior Analyst
Fixed Asset team, within DB Group Finance, is responsible for managing the lifecycle of DB-owned assets ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance to accounting standards (IFRS, HGB and Local GAAP).

Your Key Responsibilities

• Performs review and approval of Purchase Requisitions. Recognize if the purchase request that qualifies to be capitalized as an asset (i.e., product description based on attached evidence, Capex threshold)
• Performs Asset Master Data Maintenance in SAP based on requests (i.e Asset creation, modification, asset value adjustment)
• Performs checks related to depreciation run. Ensure that all depreciation run are successfully completed without error.
• Reports Production including Fixed Asset Register, SW Cap report, Disclosure reports and various entity special report.
• Perform Balance Sheet Substantiation process to ensure the correctness of balances reported.
• Post Month End Review (i.e. Analytical review, RTB pack, Metrics, Late Adjustments, FI vs AA and GGL vs FAR reconciliation)
• Participate in change initiatives that may include but are not limited to brainstorming exercises, process improvement discussions, user acceptability testing and post deployment reviews
• Support Audit reviews by providing appropriate audit requirements.

Your Skills And Experience

• At least 1yr work related to asset accounting
• Knowledgeable in SAP Asset Master data module , SAP4Hana is a plus
• Amenable to work 60% in the office and during holidays that fall during peak period.
• Can clearly and effectively communicate with others
• Can effectively work and collaborate with others towards common goals and objectives
• Ability to escalate adequately and properly
• Adapting quickly and positively to changing situations; restructuring tasks and priorities as circumstances develop within the business and organization
• Self-motivated individual requiring minimal supervision with passion for performance
• Results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency to meet project goals
• Team player
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change
• Must be able to understand complex information and communicate the information to people with diverse professional backgrounds.
