Team Overview

The Cost Control team is responsible for ensuring the reasonableness and completeness of costs at the entity/location (Cost Control) and business level (Cost Operations). This involves daily discussions with internal stakeholders regarding cost-related items and timely review of MECC (Month End Cost Close) actual balances versus business expectations.

Act as a bridge between various finance partners to provide guidance and advisory on cost projects, conduct consultations, and manage inquiries.

Serve as the business point of contact to facilitate communication between relevant stakeholders on issues affecting costs.

Your key responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of overall costs, including balance sheet accruals and P&L items.
  • Manage all four validation and control boxes to ensure a robust control environment, making appropriate recommendations.
  • Prepare cost forecasts, commentaries for governance packs, and quarterly attestations.
    • Drive client relationship strategies, fostering effective relationships at all organizational levels. Promote collaboration across work streams and with clients to achieve objectives.
      • Perform root cause analysis and analytical reviews to detect irregularities, errors, or variances.
