We are urgently looking for a Senior Accountant with ServiceTitan experience to support clients in the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing industry.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
  • Daily AP (3-way matching), inventories, cash and bank reconciliations, intercompany balancing, processing payments, and journal entries among others
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close responsibilities and ensure team members are on track during close
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure optimum process and efficiency
  • Ensure deadlines and controls are met in accordance with our policies and procedures
  • Manage proper deliverables to external auditor on annual audits and quarterly reviews
  • Lead internal audit engagements
  • Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
  • Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information
  • Assist with month end close and other projects as needed
  • Interact with various levels of management and peers
  • Plan, schedule and organize work independently with minimum supervision to complete tasks within designated timelines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and more than seven of experience in finance or accounting or a related area
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
  • Experience in a Big 4 firm a plus
  • Must have strong MS Excel skills (can perform complex formulas and automate processes)
  • Experience with ServiceTitan, and QuickBooks Online, a must
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

System requirements:

  • Computer Processor: At least i5, 8th gen for both primary and back up computers
  • Computer Memory/RAM: At least 8.00 GB for both primary and back up computers
  • Computer OS: Windows 11
  • With licensed MS Office and extra monitor
  • Internet speed must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan (at least 10 Mbps for back up connection)
