Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of human resources tasks and initiatives across the employee lifecycle. This role involves handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and other HR-related functions. The HR Generalist ensures HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.
- Coordinate orientation and training programs for new employees.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
- Promote a positive work environment and company culture.
- Assist in conflict resolution and ensure fair treatment of employees.
Performance Management & Development
Support performance appraisal processes, including evaluations and goal-setting.
Identify training and development needs.
Assist in designing and implementing employee development programs.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Assist in managing payroll, benefits, and incentive programs.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies.
- Provide employees with guidance regarding benefits and compensation.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and HR procedures.
- Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Maintain HRIS and employee records with confidentiality.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and dashboards as needed.
- Track employee turnover, recruitment metrics, and other HR KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR generalist role or similar capacity.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR practices, and employment regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and other HR software.
