About the Role
You'll be the vital first point of contact for patients seeking mental health support, playing a crucial role in their healthcare journey. This remote position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the mental health field while working with a dedicated healthcare team. You'll manage patient interactions with professionalism and empathy, using cutting-edge technology platforms to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities

  • Register and manage patients in Charm EMR platform with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls using Spruce voice phone system
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment management
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding psychiatry-specific inquiries and procedures
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
  • Support daily office operations and administrative workflow
  • Provide compassionate customer service to patients and their families
  • Assist with insurance verification and patient intake processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a medical receptionist
  • Proficiency with Charm EMR platform for patient registration and management
  • Experience with Spruce voice phone system for call handling
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone manner
  • Ability to work effectively in a HIPAA-compliant remote environment
  • Comfort with mental health-related conversations and sensitive patient interactions
  • Bonus if you have experience with psychiatry office operations
  • It helps if you're familiar with insurance verification processes.
