We are seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team at UNIVERSAL ACCESS and SYSTEMS SOLUTIONS, PHIL. INC.' in Angeles City, Pampanga. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing the company's payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payments and tax filings.

What you'll be doing:

1. Payroll Processing

  • Handle end-to-end semi-monthly payroll processing
  • Compute basic pay, overtime, holiday pay, night differential, allowances, deductions, and final pay
  • Review and validate timesheets, shift schedules, and timekeeping data from HRIS or biometric systems

2. Timekeeping & HRIS Management

  • Maintain and audit timekeeping systems and employee schedule logs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HRIS and biometric tools
  • Ensure seamless integration between timekeeping and payroll platforms

3. Government Reporting & Statutory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth contributions and loan reports
  • Ensure timely remittance of all mandated deductions and amortizations
  • Support government audits and compliance with DOLE, BIR, and other regulatory bodies

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Generate payroll reports, journal entries, and cost allocation summaries
  • Assist in preparing payroll metrics and analytics for leadership review

5. Automation & Innovation

  • Propose and test tools to automate payroll and timekeeping processes
  • Contribute ideas for AI or third-party app integrations to improve efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

  • Graduate of Accountancy, Financial Management, HR Management, or related course
  • At least 2–3 years of end-to-end payroll and timekeeping experience, preferably in large-scale or BPO setups
  • Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), HRIS, payroll systems, and government portals (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth)
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle tight deadlines while ensuring data confidentiality
  • Tech-savvy and proactive in suggesting AI tools or automation to improve payroll processes
