Assistant Production Manager

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Performance Indicators

  • Assess and calibrate strategies, systems, procedure, performance, capabilities, equipment, facilities and people
  • Ensure all employees follow GMP, SSOP & HACCP to support production of the highest quality product.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate work activities and obtain resources necessary for production.
  • Oversee supervision of production employees, including scheduling and training on policies, procedures, duties and activities.
  • Ensure product quality & control cost.
  • Ensure sanitation procedures are being followed.
  • Oversee production process; ensure that production is cost effective.
  • Monitor product standard is strictly being followed.
  • Monitor that Health and safety guidelines are being followed
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Supervise, coach and train his team.
  • Continuously look for improvements to operations using First Principle.
  • Working proactively with various departments to realize efficiencies and manage expectations.
  • Reviews accuracy of production reports weekly and audit supervisor report once a month.
  • Submit weekly reports (PVA, Dashboard,WUPR) every Thursday of the week.
  • Ensures that his/her team achieves the set KPI/KRA target.
  • Achieve at least 95% of  production target  such as: Productivity, efficiency, Recovery/output, Rejection, materials variance, man hours, GMP & Safety,
  • Reports to the Production Manager

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • At least 3 years work experience as Production Supervisor in food manufacturing
  • Experience in food manufacturing is a must

  • Strong leadership talent, interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects

  • Good communication skills
