Position Title: Recruitment Consultant (Energy and Built Environment)

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly driven and entrepreneurial
Recruitment Consultant
to specialize in the
Energy, Renewables, Utilities, and Built Environment
sectors. This is a 360-degree, full-desk role responsible for end-to-end business development and talent placement. The right candidate must possess an in-depth understanding of the technical skills required for roles in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Geothermal Engineering, as well as Construction and Project Management, within the Philippine or regional market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management and Business Development:

  • Sector Specialization:
    Identify, develop, and manage robust client relationships specifically within the Energy (Power Generation, Renewables, Utilities) and Built Environment (Construction, Infrastructure, Real Estate Development) sectors.
  • Revenue Generation:
    Lead the identification, development, and management of client business relationships, selling our professional recruitment services and negotiating profitable rates and commercial terms.
  • Consultative Partnership:
    Act as a subject matter expert to provide clients with insights into market conditions, salary benchmarks, and talent scarcity, ensuring long-term satisfaction.

2. Specialized Technical Recruiting:

  • End-to-End Recruitment:
    Own the full lifecycle permanent and contract recruitment process for junior-to-senior technical and commercial hires (e.g., Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineers, Design Leads, HSSE Specialists, Business Development Leads).
  • Sourcing & Attraction:
    Source and attract high-quality candidates through strategic channels, leveraging job boards, professional networks (LinkedIn Recruiter), and direct headhunting tailored to technical roles.
  • Candidate Vetting:
    Conduct specialized interviews and assessments, deeply evaluating candidate technical suitability and fit within the Energy/Built Environment context.
  • Candidate Care:
    Take responsibility for candidate care, ensuring a professional, thorough, and positive experience from initial contact through post-placement.

3. Candidate Management:

  • Screen and shortlist candidates based on client requirements, focusing on cultural fit and commercial acumen.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability and industry experience.
  • Brief candidates fully on the company and role, and take responsibility for candidate care and regular contact.

5. Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence:

  • Campaign Development:
    Develop and implement targeted short and long-term recruitment campaigns to address specific skill shortages within the specialized sectors.
  • Market Intelligence:
    Stay up-to-date with sector-specific market trends, regulatory changes (e.g., RE laws, Building Codes), and competitor activity to inform both client and business strategy.

6. Target:

  • Achieve revenue targets and meet individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a fast-moving, competitive sales environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years
    of professional experience in
    360-degree Recruitment Consulting
    .
  • Mandatory:
    Demonstrable understanding or experience recruiting for technical or commercial roles within the
    Energy, Construction, Engineering, or Built Environment
    industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Strong team player with an entrepreneurial mindset, high professionalism, and adaptability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Success Measures / KPIs

  • Revenue Generated
    : Total revenue generated from placements.
  • Time-to-Hire
    : Average time taken to fill a vacancy
  • Client Acquisition Rate
    : Number of new clients acquired within a given period.
  • Offer Acceptance rate:
    The percentage of job offers that candidates accept.
  • Quality of CV
    : 3:1 ratio (CVs to interview)
