Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by validating transactions and documentation of the receiving, storing, and delivering items. Help in supervising the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of operators and ensuring an efficient warehouse operation in achieving business targets. Provide line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring orders targets, KPI's and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer.

Duties & Resposibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
• Assists Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
• Assists in ensuring that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the Company's procedures and requirements.
• Help the WICM drive to maintains the Standard Work and ensuring quality processes are implemented to ensure a "Right First Time" product to the customer aligned with their expectation
• Lead follow up and resolve customer concerns. Helps WICM identify errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures and sustain the corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues
• Conducts physical inventory – cycle counts, random and the daily count for the ABC inventory. Compares results with the SAP inventory and conduct an initial investigation for any discrepancies.
• Summarizes discrepancies found in the SAP transactions versus manual and actual movement of stocks and reports to WICM for discussion and action.
• Collaborates with other department to help develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of the warehouse practices
• In conjunction with the WICM, implement warehouse and management systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvement
• Responsible for overseeing the correct records for the IN and OUT transactions. Ensure that all the documents – Sales Order (SO), Product Demo Request (PDR) or Stock Transfer Request (STR) has corrected details versus the actual items OUT
• Assist in checking, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity. Ensure stock movements are recorded accurately in the Inventory Delivery Database-Order Fulfillment Monitoring (IDD-OFM) for the SO requests, Demo Monitoring for the Product Demo Request (PDR), Stock Transfer Monitoring for transfer of stocks from one warehouse to another and/or from Head Office for branches
• Assist the Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager in resolving issues or problems which occur in the warehouse
• Conduct training for associate on inventory management and control procedures; addressed common and specialize inventory problems, and develop resolutions
• Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times
• Back up WICM and back up for Warehouse and Dispatch Team Leader
• Perform weekly checking of the different warehouses based on schedule which will be provided by WICM
• Prepares and submits the daily and weekly Inventory Delivery

Performs other duties assigned by the Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager.

Experience and Knowledge

• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse procedures and operations
• Good leadership and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of principles and process for providing customer and personal services

Reports to: Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager

With frequent communication to: Warehouseman, Inventory Pharmacist, Audit Staff, Audit Manager, Order Admin, Order Filler/Returns Coordinator, Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse & Inventory Control Manager, Customer Care Department, IT Department

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
