Educational Qualification

Diploma in Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication, B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication Electrical. Or any vocational training in the related field.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Fresher to Minimum 2 years on electrical / electronic systems
  • Good communication skills
  • Intelligence on ground, "street smart"
  • Networking Skills to ensure the on ground team of customers are in good terms with our engineer to ensure demand for our products.
  • Ability to convince the client's operations team on our resolution abilities.
  • MS Office working knowledge
  • Minimum knowledge on hardware like Com ports, Converters etc.
  • Must have a practical knowledge on battery installation and replacement; site analysis; and technical support
  • Flexibility and ability to travel domestic and international when required

Tasks & responsibilities

  • To cater to the service needs of Telecom & UPS clients of Global Power Source Group of Companies (GPSGC).
  • Shall be responsible for:

  • Training the customers' operations team regarding the functions of Lithium ion & VRLA batteries

  • Train customers' operations team on installation methods of Lithium ion & VRLA batteries. Training can be either online or on site or at customer warehouse.
  • Educate customer on safety measures on site ensuring "ZERO casualties".
  • Post installation, train the customer on Commissioning of batteries to "live the site operations" as needed.
  • Ensuring customers are trained on software related operations in Lithium ion batteries.
  • Ensuring that Telecom Rectifiers and batteries are working in sync to ensure customer site uptime.
  • Educate customers on do's and don'ts at site
  • Should be able to identify faults and provide appropriate solution for resolution.

  • To support day-to-day engineering tasks and tie workflow to schedule.

  • Travel to customer sites (when needed) within the allotted jurisdictions to attend the services calls / collect the required data from the Telecom sites as per company requirements.
  • Responsible for Troubleshooting technical issues; operate laptop and testing tools to help evaluate technical issues and implement required repair tasks.
  • To be responsible to maintain tool kits, laptops, connectors and other proprietary equipment as may be given by the company.
  • To make daily activity logs, tracking of maintenance and part tracking sheet
  • The candidate shall be reporting administratively to Global Power Battery Solutions, Inc. - Philippines office, functionally to Telecom service head & service sales head, based out of India HQ.

Laptop, travel allowance while on customer visits, and monthly mobile bills shall be given to employees to facilitate smooth working environment.

Please note that this is a hard core field job and would require candidate to spend his/her time with customers operations team and would involve travelling in the designated region.

In case selection of a candidate is confirmed, he/she is expected to join within one month. To facilitate smooth joining of the candidate – his/her induction program shall be planned by the company. The induction program shall include classroom training, online training and on field training.
