Job Overview:

The Lead Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning control systems for large-scale mining and mineral processing facilities. This role requires extensive experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and Plant SCADA (Citect), strong analytical ability, and the leadership skills to mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and commission PLC and SCADA systems for mineral processing plants (e.g., SAG mills, flotation circuits, leach circuits, conveyors, crushers).
  • Develop, modify, and test PLC code in Studio 5000 / RSLogix 5000 / Logix 5000.
  • Configure and troubleshoot CompactLogix, ControlLogix, PanelView, and related Rockwell hardware.
  • Create and modify Plant SCADA (Citect) graphics, control logic, alarms, and historical data integration.
  • Perform FAT/SAT, loop checks, and test plans for commissioning and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with operations, construction, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure design quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in control systems engineering within the mining or mineral processing industry.
  • Proven expertise in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and Plant SCADA (Citect) development.
  • Strong understanding of PID tuning, multivariable control, and process optimization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
