The Manufacturing Engineering – PC&IS lead will be responsible to ensure that all machines and processes of the production department are functioning as per design. Lead in the troubleshooting and solving of chronic power and control-related concerns. Optimization of current manufacturing processes with the main purpose of increasing productivity, eliminating or reducing waste, reducing costs, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead implementation, design, installation and commissioning of power and controls scope of new processes and projects
  • Evaluate power and controls systems of existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Identify new equipment, processes, layouts, procedures, and systems to further improve the manufacturing of products
  • Perform problem-solving initiatives for any production deviations that impact measures
  • Ensure power and controls scope of manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations
  • PC&IS Lead of the Production Department Equipment Calibration program ensuring all instruments are conforming to internationally recognized standards
  • Lead in maintaining an organized, clean, orderly, and safe working environment by complying with company procedures, rules and regulations, and other housekeeping standards
  • With timely access to the summary of Incident Disposition Reports (IDR) and Production Records, determine problem resolutions and implement systemic improvements
  • Get actively involved in projects and routines (e.g. DOR, WOR, MOR) that aim to improve quality and efficiency, reduce waste and correct/resolve IDRs in production operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation, Controls Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years' working experience in electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Proven expertise with sensors, motors, PLC's, HMI's and industrial automation
  • Knowledgeable in troubleshooting of Processing, Filling, Packing, Conveying systems
  • Hands on experience is PLC and HMI Programming (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.)
  • Familiar with Computer and Industrial Networks
  • Preferably experienced in Food Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS OR SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Licensed Engineer (preferred) or minimum TESDA NCII certification
  • Project Management skills (preferred)
  • Problem Root Cause and Why-Why Analysis
  • MS Office, Visio, SolidWorks, AutoCAD (preferred)
  • Fluent in English (Verbal & Written)
