Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products by designing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
  • Identify, track, and document defects using the company's bug-tracking tools
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product quality
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions as part of the Agile process
  • Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release
  • Maintain and improve QA processes, standards, and documentation
  • Assist in test automation efforts (if applicable)
  • Provide feedback to enhance user experience and product stability

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with manual testing; test automation experience is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
  • Experience using bug-tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello
  • Basic understanding of SQL and APIs (Postman/Swagger)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Preferred Skills (Optional)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Background in mobile testing (Android/iOS)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
