Job Summary:

The Field Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing on-site engineering activities to ensure that all projects are executed according to design, quality standards, budget, and schedule. The role involves direct supervision of site areas, ensuring that construction works are implemented safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved plans and specifications. The Field Engineer also serves as the technical liaison between the project site and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
  • Supervise site areas and ensure that daily construction activities comply with approved plans, safety policies, and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, QA/QC policies, and performance specifications.
  • Conduct daily coordination with clients, contractors, and project teams to interpret project requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work, including monitoring project budget, schedule, plans, and personnel performance.
  • Regularly prepare and submit progress and status reports to management.
  • Assign responsibilities and provide mentorship and technical guidance to project team members.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager, site supervisors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project efficiency.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure that all safety and environmental standards are met during field operations.
  • Support the implementation of project management strategies to achieve successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (required).
  • Proven experience as a Field Engineer or Site Engineer in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other design or project management software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and best engineering practices.
  • Excellent project management, supervision, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under minim
