
Restaurant Supervisor

Key duties and responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Assigns work tasks and activities, prepares schedules and ensures that all shifts are covered properly
- Provides direction to service staff prior to and during the execution of all relevant restaurant efforts, day-to-day operations, complaint management, and improvement results.
- Addressing customer inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Monitoring food and beverage quality, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to the company's restaurant policies and manuals, as well as the timely completion of performance appraisals.
- Ensure that the correct discounts are applied for PWD, Senior Citizens, Employees, and other eligible groups.
- Conduct regular audit of store funds, sales, compliance on cash handling procedures and inventory of all food and non-food items.
- Ensure that the End-of-Day (EOD) sales are accurate before closing the sales and depositing them into the bank.
- Petty cash and replenishment
- Clearly communicate the maintenance schedule for kitchen equipment and the cleaning schedule.
- As part of the Management Team, holds and facilitates regular meetings for the whole restaurant, to lay out action plans and provide updates on relevant developments.
- Train new and current employees in effective customer service practices and encouraging them to take responsibility for monitoring supplies.
- Manage inventory rotation and product storage standards
- Conduct food tasting and drink to service staff, in order for them to have an understanding and appreciation of what they are serving.
- Providing guidance and support to staff, fostering a positive work environment, and motivating team members.
- Performs other tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Preferably has previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong multi-tasking, managerial, and interpersonal skills
- Willing to work in BGC, Taguig City
