Infrastructure Operations AnalystPosted 07 March 2025Requisition ID: 63478Location(s): Pasay, 00, PHWork experience: ProfessionalType of position: Full-TimeJob Family: Information TechnologyThe Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC) Product Team is a group responsible for the hybrid platform monitoring function, which aims to increase IT availability and process automation. The Monitoring function (IOC) is critical for Vestas' future in platform and application monitoring. Strategic goals supported:Quality - by reacting faster to errors/alerts for VestasScalability - by standardizing and automating monitoring processes

Higher end user experience - by faster resolution times

The expected outcomes will include:Increased reaction patterns/models and decreased risk exposure when handling incidents and events

Faster onboarding of new tools and processes through better use of automation

Assisting smaller DevOps/Application teams in covering 24/7 monitoring and basic troubleshooting

Monitoring infrastructure components on-premise and in the cloud

Responsibilities:Perform daily system activities jointly with a team providing 24/7 operational services

Provide 2nd level support for issues related to infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS components

Perform system checks and basic maintenance plans

Identify and resolve system operating problems and determine the cause of system interruptions

Assist DevOps/Application Teams in creating and handling monitoring and troubleshooting tasks

Coordinate and resolve problems

Create documentation for procedures and operational workflows

Proficiency in Windows AND/OR Linux Operating SystemsQualifications:Experience in Microsoft Azure working with IaaS and PaaS components

Knowledge in SQL and IIS administration

Familiarity with Grafana, Kubernetes, and DynatraceAbility to incorporate information into software programs used in fabrication

Experience with Service Now Ticketing PlatformDocumentation and administration/coordination skills

Competencies:Experience in 24/7 monitoring setup and basic troubleshooting

Knowledge in Incident/Request Management and Problem ManagementAutomation mindset

Skilled in engaging with other teams for joint troubleshooting

Effective collaborator with good communication skills

Experience working in DevOps organizations
