Infrastructure Operations Analyst

The Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC) Product Team is a group responsible for the hybrid platform monitoring function. We will see both increased IT availability and increased process automation. The main benefit is to have control over this vital part of Vestas and work with continuous improvement within IT Automation. The Monitoring function (IOC) is critical in Vestas going forward when it comes to platform and eventually Application monitoring.Strategic goal supported:Quality - by reacting faster to errors/Alerts for VestasScalability - by standardization and automating the monitoring processes, to accelerate time to executionHigher end user experience - by faster resolution timeThe outcome will be:Increased reaction patterns/models and decreased risk exposure handling Incidents and eventsFaster onboarding of new tools and processes by better use of automationAssist smaller DevOps/Application teams in covering 24/7 monitoring and basic troubleshootingMonitoring infrastructure components on-premise and in the cloudInfrastructure Services > DataCenter & Cloud, Engineering and Services (DCES) > IOC ChapterResponsibilitiesPerforming daily system activitiesJointly with a team that provides 24/7 operational services2nd-level support for issues related to infrastructure, including IaaS and PaaS componentsPerforms system checks and basic maintenance plansTroubleshoots system operating problems and determines the cause of system interruptionsEventually assist DevOps/Application Teams in creating and handling monitoring and troubleshooting tasksAssist in the coordination and resolution of problemsCreate document procedures and operational workflowsLinux Operating System competence (with Windows experience is a plus)QualificationsExperience in Microsoft Azure working with IaaS and PaaS, such as Managed SQL web apps, etc.Preferably, knowledge of SQL administration and IIS administrationKnowledge of Grafana, Kubernetes, and Dynatrace is beneficialThorough experience with the ability to incorporate the information into a software program used in the fabricationKnowledge/Experience on the ServiceNow Ticketing PlatformDocumentation and administration/coordination skillsCompetenciesExperience in 24/7 monitoring setup and basic troubleshootingKnowledge in Incident/Request Management and Problem Management Automation mindsetConfident in engaging with other teams in joint troubleshootingTeam player with good communication skillsPreferably experience from working in DevOps organizationsEager to learn and develop new skillsWhat We OfferWe offer you an exciting role with great professional and personal development opportunities in an inspiring, progressive, international work environment at an established manufacturer of wind turbines.
