We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented NOC Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of our enterprise systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong monitoring, incident response, and ITIL-based service management experience in both traditional and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor, analyze, and respond to alerts across enterprise IT infrastructure (network, servers, applications, databases, and cloud environments).
- Perform proactive monitoring using APM and IT monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, SolarWinds, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana).
- Act as the first line of defense in identifying, escalating, and resolving incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Execute ITIL-aligned Incident Management and escalation procedures, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders.
- Conduct initial triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for incidents.
- Support monitoring integrations, including APIs (REST, SOAP, Endpoints, HTTP Methods).
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, and Cloud teams to ensure system availability and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of NOC operations, runbooks, and processes.
- ITIL Certified or Trained (Foundation level preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in a 24x7 NOC or mission-critical environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (Networks, Servers, Applications, Databases, and Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring or APM technologies (Dynatrace, SolarWinds, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, or similar).
- Familiarity with ITSM concepts and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy).
- Experience monitoring hybrid environments (traditional datacenter + cloud such as AWS or Azure).
- Knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP, endpoints, HTTP methods).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, 24x7 operational environment.
- Exposure to automation, scripting, or DevOps practices.
- Experience in Change and Problem Management.
- Familiarity with IT compliance and security monitoring.
