Bid Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage our new Bid Team in Manila. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the entire bid process, ensuring the accuracy, competitiveness, and integrity of all proposals. The role requires a skilled estimator with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in a similar capacity. Proficiency in both English in mandatory and Mandarin language skills are highly preferred.

This role reports to the Global Business Development lead, requiring regular communication and therefore flexibility around working within changing time zones is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

o Lead and mentor the Manila-based Bid Team

o Manage the end-to-end bid process, from initial inquiry to final submission

o Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for complex projects.

o Continue to refine and improve the bid management process alongside the global business development manager.

o Serve as the primary liaison between the Manila team, the CBDO and the global business development team.

o Collaborate with key technical leads, including but not limited to the COO, Head of R&D and lead Architect.

Language requirements:

Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Mandarin being highly desirable but not required. Coupled with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and the confidence to present internally and externally (when required).

Qualifications:

Degree Education level, with 5 to 10 years' experience in industry

Technical skills:

Good technical knowledge of facade systems, proficient in reading drawings, specifications, RFP's, RFQ's, etc. Skill and ability to do take offs. Competent in using Microsoft applications and other software platform.

Remuneration:

Subject to experience and in line with local market level.

This role is Manila-based, full-time, hybrid in-office, working closely with our global teams. Proficiency in English is a must.
