Duties & Responsibilities:

MAJOR:

  1. Planning, supervision and control of all activities within the department and of the credit & collection personnel

  2. Centralized approval of clearances for all Sales Order ( NCR-Head Office, Villasis Branch , TMC Branch, Cebu Branch, Davao Branch, Iloilo Branch, & Cagayan De Oro Branch ) of all customer based on their accounts stability on credit terms and credit line.

  3. In-charge on controlling all documents within the dept. the needs approval by the Vice President and the President ,e.g credit memo, debit memo, etc.

  4. Centralized evaluation & recommendation for all clients from Head Office  & all branches applying for credit terms/credit line subject for approval by the credit committee

  5. Analyzing & control the customers Accts. Receivable from Head Office & all branches which will be coordinated to Sales Manager/ Regional Branch Sales Manager/ Branch Manager especially clients having problem on their payments

  6. Attend hearing as a representative of the company at the Metropolitan trial Court or Dept. of Justice  whose clients filed a legal/ civil cases respectively which endorsed to Legal Department

  7. Prepares notices/ demand letters to clients with return cheque(s) and other inter-company memo;

  8. Monitoring ISO objective for the monthly collection target/ quota;

  9. Dealing/ visiting with clients having reconciliation on their accounts balances and with long overdue accounts

MINOR:

  1. Handling and monitoring all clients treated as special accounts by the Vice President-Sales

  2. Receiving all cash & cheque collection from collectors and Sales Engineers to be remitted at treasury

  3. Facilitate credit investigation to clients applying for credit, if necessary

  4. Approved/ released cash drawings intended for company cheque for encashment by different department

  5. In-charge on the performance evaluation of credit & collection personnel

  6. Attend monthly review meeting for the OPCOM and other special meetings when needed and

  7. Prepares other reports as per request and needed by President, Vice President or Treasury Manager
