  • Directing the Finance and Accounting function to ensure accurate and timely closing of books and financial reporting for internal and external purposes.
  • Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost and Financial Analysis.
  • Verifies and controls importation / shipping expenses
  • Helping drive process improvements to ensure efficient and productive finance and accounting operations.
  • Ensures that corporate documents (BIR, SEC, etc.) are up-to-date and available.
  • Oversees timely month and year-end closing and reporting.
  • Participates in budget planning when requested.
  • Double check custom/import documents like IED, AFTA etc.
  • Verifies corporate income tax due based on available information.
  • Liaises with external auditor regarding fiscal and year-end audit.
  • Focal point with the BIR during tax audit(s) and other relevant matters.
  • Managing the tax team for tax management, permits & licenses, insurance, etc.
  • Monitors monthly inventories and stock take incl. valuation of stock.
  • Supervisory of inter-/ intra-company transactions.
  • Reviews bi-monthly payroll for submission to MP/MD
  • Arrange weekly A/R collection update meeting.
  • Review weekly Cashflow Projection and report to MP

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • **Essential Skills:**
  • Strong knowledge of Philippines tax regulations and BIR requirements
  • Experience with SEC compliance and corporate documentation

**Technical Requirements:**

  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience
  • Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks) and financial reporting tools
  • **Management Experience:**
  • Minimum 2 years supervising accounting teams
  • Experience managing external auditor relationships
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • **Work Eligibility:**
  • Must be legally authorised to work in the Philippines
  • Ability to pass background checks as required for financial positions
