Job Summary:

The Accounting Specialist (General Ledger) is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role requires strong knowledge of SAP and experience in handling general ledger processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, maintain, and analyze general ledger accounts and financial statements.
  • Process journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and monthly closing activities.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents for audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding accounting entries and financial transactions.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements within SAP.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • With at least 2–3 years of experience in General Ledger or related accounting roles.
  • Must have SAP experience (GL module preferred).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
