Director of Operations

We are the Money Transfer division of Euronet, powering the Ria, Xe and Dandelion Payments brands. Our Manila operation serves as a vital shared service hub for the division, servicing Agents, personal and corporate customers globally. The Director of Operations is responsible for managing the resources of the Manila hub and, as required, supporting certain aspects of the regional business.

You will ensure that the hub contributes to our global operating model in an efficient and productive manner by overseeing operating procedures and assisting/instructing resources where necessary to ensure exceptional delivery of services. Partnering with HR, you will implement recruitment, onboarding, and development strategies that will promote employee development, satisfaction, and retention. Your demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, manage cross-functional departments, and drive operational excellence will position the hub as an employer of choice locally.

What you'll do

Customer ExperienceResponsible for operating systems, policies, and procedures within the hub (including development, implementation, and continual improvement of processes) to best achieve overall business goals. Collaborate with global heads of function to implement new or enhanced processes to support our customers. Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions to relevant managers to create efficiencies within the business ensuring that regulatory compliance is met.

Operational EfficiencyAct as the senior Company representative for the hub. Build and maintain strong working relationships with external business partners and be the point of contact for various suppliers and contractors. As required, assist our regional compliance, banking, and treasury teams with any local representation requirements.

Ensure the adequate management of office equipment and supplies for new and existing employees and manage the office space. Power our PeopleMaintain and build hub culture through proven recruitment strategies, initiating recognition and reward initiatives, and partnering with stakeholders – e.g. monthly and company-wide celebrations and events. Ensure proper onboarding of new employees from office tours, desk setup, seat allocation, etc.

Support local functional leadership and HR with employee behavior concerns, general office conduct, and other workplace issues. Support global management with HR matters, including interviews, performance management, employee wellness, termination, and restructures, with the support of the Philippines HR Business Partner. Assist the team with other administrative and operational duties that contribute to the overall success of the Money Transfer Segment.

Who you are

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus). At least 5-10 years of experience in a managerial role, with a focus on business development and operations management. Strong leadership and team management experience, particularly in financial services, ideally within foreign exchange and/or cross border with a focus on people and change management.

Technically savvy with a strong business acumen. Effective communicator who is comfortable interacting across all levels. Quick to adapt to change and ability to wear multiple hats.
