DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Maintenance

  • Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines and equipment.
  • Performs scheduled repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
  • Inspects and maintains tools, machines, and production equipment.
  • Lubricates and cleans tools and parts as required.
  • Executes work based on Job Order Requests.
  • Sets up and operates metalworking tools such as drill press and grinder for repairs.
  • Coordinates with the Production Head to minimize downtime.
  • Monitors tool and equipment inventory.
  • Controls maintenance budget and prepares weekly/monthly reports.
  • Participates in plant meetings and supports management productivity programs.

B. Quality Assurance

  • Implements quality processes for incoming, in-process, and final assurance and control.
  • Conducts internal and external quality audits.
  • Handles customer complaints and feedback, ensuring prompt investigation and resolution.
  • Coordinates quality issues and improvements with production, purchasing, and suppliers.
  • Leads quality training, campaigns, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains and updates plant quality standards and work instructions.
  • Represents the plant in corporate quality-related meetings and new product launches.

C. Safety Management

  • Conducts daily safety patrols and PPE inspections.
  • Ensures adherence to company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifies and mitigates workplace hazards; prepares related reports.
  • Responds to emergencies and performs firefighting duties as needed.
  • Records and monitors workplace accidents, injuries, and health incidents.
  • Facilitates compliance with required safety certifications and training.
  • Prepares and submits weekly and monthly safety reports.

D. Pollution Control

  • Supervises the operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities.
  • Prepares and ensures renewal of environmental permits required by DENR and DOLE.
  • Addresses plant environmental concerns and maintains regulatory compliance.
  • Attends Pollution Control Officer meetings and submits required reports to authorities.

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, or any Engineering-related technical course.
  • With 1–2 years of experience in equipment maintenance, safety, quality assurance, or compliance within a manufacturing setup.
  • Knowledgeable in preventive maintenance, ISO standards, safety protocols, environmental regulations, and pollution control processes.
  • Possesses strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and proactive in identifying and solving operational issues.
  • Capable of preparing technical and compliance reports in line with company and regulatory requirements.
