JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspects and tests malfunctioning medical or related equipment, following manufacturer's specifications and using test and analysis instruments
  • Tests or calibrates components or equipment following manufacturer's manuals and troubleshooting technique
  • Performs troubleshooting of cardio-pulmonary equipment and other medical equipment and machines
  • Performs preventive maintenance of cardio-pulmonary equipment and other medical equipment and machines
  • Tests, evaluates and classifies excess or in-use medical equipment and determine service ability, condition and disposition, in accordance with regulations
  • Keeps records of maintenance, repair and required updates of equipment
  • Conducts trainings to end users of medical equipment
  • Interacts with healthcare providers and offer technical support for equipment usage

REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of Electronics Technology, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering or Electronics, or new graduate with related training obtained during OJT
  • At least 1 year work experience in the same or related field.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with other professionals including doctors, respiratory therapists and nurses, a plus factor
  • With good organizational and planning skills
  • Good at design, analysis and problem solving
  • Strong math, science and technology skills
  • Customer oriented and with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to function effectively and efficiently in emergencies
