Job Description – Engine Overhaul Supervisor

The Engine Overhaul Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the complete process of engine overhaul within the AMO. The role includes supervising engine shop personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, preparing quotations for upcoming projects, and leading the team in the release to service (RTS) of engines. The Supervisor ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all engine overhaul, inspection, and repair works.
  • Lead and guide engine overhaul technicians to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and work scopes for incoming projects.
  • Ensure compliance with CAAP/FAA/EASA regulations, OEM manuals, and company procedures.
  • Approve and sign off required documentation, including RTS, within authorization.
  • Monitor shop operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of parts, materials, and records.
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper use of tools and equipment in the engine shop.
  • Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a valid CAAP AMT License with applicable engine ratings.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in engine overhaul, with proven supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of piston and engine overhaul procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Skilled in preparing quotations, work scopes, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
