Job Scope:

  • The position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment (i.e. mowers, utility vehicles, irrigation systems).
  • Manages workshop staff and assists that an organized inventory of tools and parts are up to compliance and safety standards.
  • Works closely with Golf Course Superintendent and grounds crew to support daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Equipment Technician, or in a similar role.
  • Has certification in Mechanics and Equipment maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge and background in handling golf course equipment (and its maintenance and repairs).
  • Experience with gasoline, diesel and electric-powered engines.
  • Has an understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
