We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator & Executive Assistant to join our team and support Rocket Lab, an Australian-based software engineering company. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, task management, and building strong connections across the business. You will balance executive support for the leadership team with driving People & Culture initiatives that foster engagement, streamline HR processes, and enhance our workplace culture.

JOB DESCRIPTION AS A PEOPLE & CULTURE COORDINATOR/ EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT:

Your Responsibilities as a People & Culture Coordinator & Executive Assistant will be:

Executive Assistant Responsibilities:


• Manage the General Manager's calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling and prioritisation.


• Oversee email triage and prioritise urgent communications.


• Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and assemble materials.


• Draft communications, documents, and presentations.


• Support project tracking and follow up on action items.

People & Culture Responsibilities


• Manage leave requests, update HR records, and maintain accurate documentation.


• Oversee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires.


• Assist with planning and facilitating quarterly company meetings.


• Organise team-building activities, lunch & learn sessions, and recognition programs.


• Draft and post company-wide updates to keep staff informed and engaged.


• Support performance review processes and collate feedback

Qualifications as a People & Culture Coordinator & Executive Assistant:


• At least 3 years' experience in administrative, EA, HR, or People & Culture roles.


• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.


• High attention to detail with excellent follow-through.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to build strong relationships across teams.


• Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Employment Hero), communication tools (e.g., Slack), scheduling, and document management tools is an advantage.
