About the role

We are seeking a talented Technical Superintendent to join our team at Eagle Asia Towing Corp. in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of our fleet of vessels, ensuring they are operating at peak efficiency and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate all technical activities related to the maintenance and repair of our vessels
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to optimise the performance and lifespan of our assets
  3. Supervise and mentor a team of skilled technicians, electricians, and engineers to deliver high-quality work
  4. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  5. Collaborate with the Operations team to minimise vessel downtime and maximise productivity
  6. Analyse technical data and prepare detailed reports for senior management
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent or in a similar role within the maritime or transportation industry
  2. Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with the maintenance and repair of various vessel types
  3. Excellent project management and problem-solving skills to effectively coordinate complex technical projects
  4. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and regulations
  5. Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to develop and motivate a team of technicians
  6. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  7. Relevant qualifications or certifications in marine engineering or a related field
