Position Overview:

The Civil Engineer / Architect will be responsible for developing and executing fit-out designs that meet client requirements and specifications. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional who can effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to bring projects to a successful conclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for design development.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, including conceptual sketches, 3D models, and detailed drawings.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and other elements to enhance project aesthetics and functionality.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and make necessary adjustments based on feedback.
  • Prepare documentation and reports related to project specifications and budgets.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in architecture with a focus on fit-out projects.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Creative thinking with a strong eye for detail and design aesthetics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
