Role Overview

This role is for an experienced, confident video editor who understands storytelling and content creation in 2026. You know how to craft engaging, hook-driven, on-brand edits and keep pace with the demands of modern social content. You are not afraid of AI — you use it as a tool to work smarter, speed up your workflow, and increase output quality.

You'll join a high-standard, system-driven editing environment with clear workflows, templates, and support. You will also receive ongoing mentoring directly from our Lead Editor and have full access to the MVP training library.

Core ResponsibilitiesVideo Editing

• Edit in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and supporting software with confidence and speed.
• Organise, assemble, and quality-check raw footage from multiple sources.
• Create professional openers, transitions, text animations, lower thirds, and motion graphics.
• Develop logo animations, titles, and outros for recurring client content.
• Apply consistent colour correction and grading.
• Enhance audio, including noise removal, EQ, and mixing.
• Use AI tools (transcription, cleanup, motion assistance, pre-cuts, versioning) to accelerate workflow while keeping creative control.

Content Creation & Asset Management

• Source music, B-roll, and licensed assets from approved libraries.
• Create reusable templates for recurring clients and project types.
• Maintain consistent visual style and brand alignment across all client content.
• Follow MVP standards for folder structure, naming conventions, and asset organisation.
• Leverage AI-supported tools to streamline repetitive tasks.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with the Creative Lead and Lead Editor to meet and exceed project expectations.
• Interpret scripts, storyboards, and client notes accurately.
• Communicate clearly through internal channels and keep projects moving smoothly.
• Participate in structured review rounds and implement feedback promptly.

Quality Assurance

• Deliver polished final edits with strong attention to detail - timing, captions, graphics, sound, transitions, and continuity.
• Double-check exports for spelling, pacing, visual issues, and brand accuracy.
• Produce platform-specific formats (vertical, square, landscape) depending on delivery requirements.
• Maintain alignment with MVP's storytelling and editing style guides.

Training & Development

• You will not be responsible for mentoring other editors.
• Instead, you will:
• Receive ongoing mentoring and feedback from our Lead Editor.
• Have full access to the MVP internal training library, tutorials, and systems.
• Use established templates, workflows, and checklists to ensure consistent output.

This role is designed for editors who want to grow their skills inside a structured, supportive environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years professional video editing experience.
• Advanced skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and modern AI-assisted editing tools.
• Strong understanding of vertical-first content and hook-driven storytelling in 2026.
• Solid experience in colour grading, sound design, and motion graphics fundamentals.
• Excellent attention to detail - timing, pacing, caption accuracy, brand consistency.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow structured systems and naming conventions.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining quality.
• Understanding of formatting standards for YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and social platforms.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• On-time delivery vs allocated project time.
• Internal review quality score from the Lead Editor.
• Number of revisions required per project (target: minimal).
• Consistency with MVP's editing style, templates, and systems.
• Effective use of AI to increase speed and reduce repetitive work.
• Accuracy and clarity in interpreting briefs, scripts, and client expectations.
• Contribution to a smooth and organised post-production workflow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
