Costimate is seeking an exceptional Estimating Manager to join our growing team in Cebu City, Philippines. As Estimating Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the estimating process for our Australian Estimating projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids that drive the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the end-to-end estimating process, from reviewing project requirements to finalising and submitting detailed cost estimates
  2. Lead a team of estimators, providing guidance, training and performance management to ensure high-quality outputs
  3. Analyse project plans, specifications and drawings to identify cost drivers and develop comprehensive estimates
  4. Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement and other stakeholders to optimise estimates and secure projects
  5. Continuously improve estimating processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  6. Provide strategic input to the leadership team on pricing, resourcing and other commercial considerations

What we're looking for

  1. Extensive experience (6+ years) as an Estimator or Estimating Manager in the construction industry
  2. Proven track record of delivering accurate and commercially viable estimates for complex projects
  3. Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods and cost drivers
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical information
  5. Proficient in the use of estimating software (CUBIT, PLANSWIFT, COSTX)
  6. MUST HAVE AUSTRALIAN EXPERIENCE in Construction
  7. Experience with CostX or similar estimating software platforms
  8. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  9. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
  10. Proven experience managing teams of 4-6 people or more
  11. Relevant degree qualification in engineering or related field
