About the role

This Estimating Assistant position within Costimate' is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with Australian construction estimating experience. You will play a vital role in supporting the estimating team, ensuring accurate and detailed project estimates are delivered. Joining our team in Cebu, Central Visayas PH, you will contribute to the strategic growth and success of our construction business.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the estimating team in preparing detailed project cost estimates and proposals
  • Conducting material take-offs, quantity calculations, and cost analysis
  • Researching and sourcing pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Maintaining and updating the company's estimating database and templates
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project requirements
  • Providing administrative support to the estimating department as needed

What we're looking for

  • AUSTRALIAN ACCENT UNDERSTANDING and EXCELLENT ENGLISH SKILLS
  • NO AMERICAN ACCENTS
  • You will be calling Australian contractors and must be extroverted.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of construction estimating experience, preferably in an Australian market
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost drivers
  • Proficiency in using estimating software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
