About the role

Ascendion is seeking a talented OIC Developer to join our growing team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time, onsite role with a shifting schedule, this position is a critical contributor to the success of our technology initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop, and implement efficient, scalable, and reliable software solutions to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical specifications and translate them into robust code
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code using best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outputs
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our systems

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as an OIC Developer, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience with web development frameworks like React, Angular, or
  • Familiarity with database technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
