
Chief Technology Officer

Role Outline:
As the Chief Technology Officer, you will be a core member of the executive team, responsible for defining and driving our technology strategy. You will lead our technical vision and play a pivotal role in scaling our operations and fostering a culture of digital excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the company's multi-horizon technology and business roadmaps. Challenge and validate our strategy with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and adoption.
- Lead initiatives to modernize our core systems and platforms, including our digital banking services. Lead change management to foster a digitally fluent culture across the organization.
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT team, ensuring system uptime, security, and project delivery. Manage IT budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effective investments that support operational excellence.
- Lead initiatives to improve our data management, from structuring and storage to processing and analytics, to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to key customers and partners. Synthesize market and industry trends to inform our technology strategy and support our customers in solving their business challenges.
- Evaluate and integrate fintech partnerships and cloud-based solutions to enhance our offerings. Foster relationships with external technology providers and regulatory technology partners.
- Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring for the technical team. Build a high-performing team by setting standards and best practices for technical execution and innovation.
- Ensure all IT systems and processes comply with relevant regulations, data privacy laws, and industry best practices, with a focus on online gambling compliance. Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures and a Zero Trust narrative with customer executives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in delivering IT roadmaps and managing large-scale technology projects.
- Strong expertise in data management, including database architecture, governance, and analytics.
- In-depth understanding of IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity practices.
- Experience in fintech or a similarly regulated industry is required.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Philippines.
