OVERVIEW

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Monitored market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Management & Leadership:

  • Training and mentoring sales supervisors and agents to enhance performance.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for the sales team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Track sales performance and provide detailed reports to the management.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to improve sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and territory plans.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a managerial or supervisorial role.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Computer Literate
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned areas (Pampanga, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bulacan, Zambales, and Pangasinan).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and customer behaviour.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
