
Area Sales Manager

OVERVIEW
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Monitored market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Training and mentoring sales supervisors and agents to enhance performance.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the sales team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Track sales performance and provide detailed reports to the management.
- Analyze sales data and trends to improve sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and territory plans.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a managerial or supervisorial role.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Computer Literate
- Willingness to travel within the assigned areas (Pampanga, Bataan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Bulacan, Zambales, and Pangasinan).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry
- Knowledge of local market dynamics and customer behaviour.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
