About the role

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our dynamic team at Phil Wave Boat Builder Co. Ltd. in Tanza Cavite. As a full-time skilled welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality boats, ensuring they meet the highest safety and performance standards.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing intricate welding tasks on a variety of boat components, including hulls, decks, and superstructures
  2. Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise and accurate welding
  3. Collaborating with the fabrication team to optimise the welding process and troubleshoot any issues
  4. Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring a safe and organised work environment
  5. Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and quality control procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a skilled welder, preferably in the boat building or a related industry
  2. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG on stainless, aluminum and stick welding
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
  5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  6. Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
