We're looking for a talented and versatile Unreal Engine Specialist with a creative eye and technical know-how to support animation, UI, and sound design for a series of interactive game projects. You won't be asked to lead gameplay architecture — instead, you'll collaborate with our engineering and design teams to bring the game world to life through polished visual and audio presentation.

This is a great role for someone who thrives in a focused support position and enjoys the satisfaction of shipping visually and sonically cohesive features.

Project Details

You'll contribute to multiple in-development Unreal Engine projects, including:

  • A casual fishing mini-game with interactive "catch" mechanics
  • A third-person shooter requiring UI updates and character polish
  • Optional support for Telegram-based and Web3 game experiences

What you will be doing

Animation Support

  • Implement animations using Unreal Engine's animation system
  • Collaborate with designers to align animations with gameplay interactions
  • Bonus: Capture and/or clean up motion capture data

UI Design & Implementation

  • Design or mock up UIs and implement them using Unreal Engine (UMG) and Rive
  • Create and integrate elements such as progress bars, catch meters, and modal windows
  • Ensure responsive, intuitive player interfaces

Sound Design & Integration

  • Source, create, or refine sound effects and ambient audio
  • Integrate audio cues within Unreal using sound cues and blueprints
  • Support in building immersive audio experiences in sync with gameplay

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working with Unreal Engine in a professional setting
  • Experience implementing animations, UI, or sound assets in Unreal
  • Familiarity with UMG and at least one of the following: animation blueprints, Rive, or sound cue systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers and engineers

Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Experience capturing or cleaning up motion capture data
  • UI/UX design background or Figma/Sketch proficiency
  • Experience with Rive for motion design
  • Familiarity with Web3 games or Telegram game integrations

Work Style & Collaboration

  • Fully remote with flexibility, but some U.S. timezone overlap is preferred
  • You'll collaborate with a distributed engineering and design team
  • You'll be given autonomy and ownership over specific animation, UI, or audio systems
