Description:The Director of IT Engineering & Architecture is a leadership role responsible for drivingtechnology innovation, engineering excellence, and architectural strategy within theorganization. Reporting directly to the SVP for IT Engineering and Architecture, the Director ofIT Engineering & Architecture leads a team of skilled professionals and plays a pivotal role inshaping the organization's technical landscape. Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership and vision for the IT engineering and architecture teams.

Develop and execute the organization's technology architecture roadmap, ensuring alignmentwith business goals. Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and solutions. Oversee the design and development of scalable, reliable, and efficient systems andapplications.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technicalsolutions, and ensure successful project execution. Lead architecture reviews and guide architectural decisions to ensure consistency, security,and maintainability. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, promoting best practices andemerging trends in IT.Manage and mentor a team of engineers, architects, and technical specialists, providingguidance and professional development opportunities.

Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and technology providers to identify opportunitiesfor collaboration and integration. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to recommend strategic adjustments tothe technology roadmap. Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and manage budgets, resource allocation, and cost-effective technology solutions. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field(advanced degree preferred). Proven experience in IT engineering, architecture, and technology leadership roles.

Strong background in designing and implementing complex IT systems and applications. Excellent knowledge of handling IT-Operations. Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, software developmentmethodologies, and IT best practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of buildinghigh-performing teams. Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, able to engage with technical andnon-technical stakeholders. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions incomplex environments.

Familiarity with AWS and other cloud computing, DevOps practices, and emergingtechnologies. Good knowledge of Avaya telephony, Juniper, Extreme, Windows Server/Linux, etc. Prior experience in budget management, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
