Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our finance operations. This role will focus on bookkeeping, general accounting tasks, and basic tax compliance, while also assisting with accounts payable and other finance-related functions as needed.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of accounting principles, is organized, proactive, and eager to grow within a dynamic finance environment.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
  • Familiarity with local tax regulations and documentation
  • Experience using accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with SMEs or startups (a plus)
  • Exposure to multiple finance functions, not just AP
