Job Description – Office Administrator (with Digital Marketing Experience)

Location: Brantford, ON

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (On-site)

About Us

Habitat28 is a fast-growing modular prefab tiny house builder based in Brantford, Ontario. We specialize in delivering innovative, CSA-certified modular housing solutions across Canada and the U.S. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Office Administrator with experience in administration, accounting support, and digital marketing to join our team and help us grow our brand presence both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, filing, and record keeping.
  • Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionally.
  • Prepare and maintain key documents (invoices, customer forms, checklists).
  • Assist with data entry, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Act as the first point of contact for potential customers, answering inquiries and booking factory tours.
  • Manage Habitat28's digital presence across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok,).
  • Create, schedule, and manage posts and paid ads on social media platforms.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to messages/comments, and build online community interaction.
  • Track ad performance metrics.
  • Support website updates (Shopify/WordPress) and maintain online product listings.
  • Assist in preparing promotional and marketing materials.
  • Use basic graphic design tools (Canva) to create professional-looking visuals for posts and ads.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in office administration, accounting support, or marketing.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Hands-on experience with social media ad creation and campaign management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
