Job Summary

The Site Civil Engineer is responsible for managing, supervising, and executing civil engineering projects at the construction site. This role ensures compliance with engineering standards, quality, safety regulations, and project timelines. The Site Engineer coordinates between various stakeholders to ensure smooth on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all on-site civil works and activities as per the approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the scheduled time and budget.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all materials used and work performed comply with project standards and specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Resolve unexpected technical issues or challenges on site.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including material usage, labor, and work progress.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and legal regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in site engineering or construction supervision.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and other civil engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of structural drawings and site layout.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

  • Based on-site (may involve rural or urban project locations).
  • May require extended hours or weekend work based on project demands.
  • Regular exposure to construction site conditions including noise, dust, and heavy machinery.

Reporting To

  • Project Manager / Senior Civil Engineer / Construction Manager

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php22, Php28,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Taguig: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:
