About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in our Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila office. This is a full-time position responsible for providing civil and structural engineering expertise to support the delivery of our innovative lighting and technology solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and overseeing the construction of civil and structural elements of our lighting and technology projects
  • Conducting site assessments and providing recommendations for project feasibility and structural integrity
  • Preparing detailed engineering drawings, plans and specifications
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities to ensure projects are completed to the required standards
  • Monitoring construction progress and ensuring work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
  • Providing technical guidance and support to the wider project delivery team
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the development of innovative engineering solutions

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer, preferably within the lighting or technology industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in structural design, construction management and project coordination
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software and other engineering design tools
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
