Job Description – Civil Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Licensed Civil Engineer with expertise in the planning, design, implementation, and management of infrastructure projects. The successful candidate must have relevant experience in water utility systems, roadworks, and other civil projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake planning, design, and supervision of civil works in water supply, wastewater, and/or transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, surveys, technical assessments, and site inspections.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, design reports, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor and supervise construction activities to ensure quality control and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and relevant government agencies.
  • Provide technical support and resolve engineering-related issues during project execution.
  • Prepare detailed progress and completion reports for stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in engineering and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of civil engineering standards, codes, and practices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Licensed/Registered Civil Engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • Experienced Engineer (Managerial Level) 10+ years of Experience
  • Experienced Engineer (Supervisorial Level) 3-9 years of Experience
