Virtual Treatment Coordinator
will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless patient care and coordination. This remote position requires exceptional organizational skills, clear communication, and a patient-focused approach to manage treatment plans and provide administrative support
Roles And Responsibilities
Treatment Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate treatment appointments and follow-up visits, optimizing the use of office resources.
- Clearly communicate treatment details to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
Patient Communication:
- Serve as the main point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans and procedures.
- Provide patients with pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand and follow guidelines.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally through phone, email, or online chat.
Appointment Management:
- Manage and update patient appointment schedules, ensuring timely and efficient treatment progression.
- Confirm appointments and assist with rescheduling or cancellations as needed.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure smooth workflow and availability
Electronic Records Management:
- Maintain and update electronic patient records, treatment plans, and administrative documents using dental practice management software or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with patient privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Insurance And Financial Coordination
- Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and pre-authorizations for treatments.
- Assist patients with understanding their financial obligations
- Work with billing departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance claims and patient payments.
Maintain professionalism and empathy in all patient interactions, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a patient-centric approach.
Collaborate with dental office staff and management remotely to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional patient care.
Stay informed about industry regulations, insurance policies, and virtual office procedures through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Adapt to new technologies, software tools, and virtual communication platforms to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in a remote work environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of any Healthcare Allied Course, Dentistry graduate is preferred
- At least 1 year experience in dental or healthcare setting
- Knowledge and understanding of dental procedures and ability to educate patients
- Familiarity with dental practice management software and EHR systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, research and organizational skills
- Typing speed of >45 words per minute preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, working with dual screens, and general computer literacy
- Able to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Willing to work onsite in Makati and in shifting schedules
