Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant assists the Accounting Manager with various accounting tasks, including processing invoices, collection of Accounts Receivable, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This role ensures accuracy in financial documentation and contributes to the smooth functioning of the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for adding New Clients and updating Business Partner Data in SAP System.
- Ensure that Manual AR Monitoring Reports and SAP recordings are updated.
- Facilitate collection of invoices.
- Assist Treasury Department in identification and verification of unidentified bank deposits.
- Signing of Job Order by verifying and ensuring DP payment is received, CR is issued and ACD monitoring reports are updated and SAP SO is generated prior signing the JO.
- Signing the Delivery Receipt by verifying and ensuring full payment is received, CR is issued and monitoring report and SAP Records are updated prior to signing the Delivery Receipt.
- Submission of Weekly Reports
- Submission of Monthly Reports and Annual Reports.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Ensure proper filing of each client's transactions such as Quotation, PO, AR DP, CR, DR, SI, BIR 2307 form to their corresponding folders.
- Conduct yearly archiving of AR and Revenue related files and ensure proper storage of documents in a secure designated area, in line with approved procedures.
- Participate in internal audits and coordinate with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Provide general accounting assistance to the Accounting Manager and perform ad hoc tasks as required.
- Maintain and update financial records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and best practices to support compliance and enhance financial reporting accuracy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, BSBM in Financial Management, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar tools).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
