Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our team. This role supports daily financial operations, ensures accurate recordkeeping, and helps maintain compliance with accounting standards and policies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions accurately, including accounts payable and receivable, with timely and compliant general ledger entries.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and internal ledgers; identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and employee expense reimbursements in line with company policies.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for internal and external use.
  • Support internal and external audits, and assist with tax filings and statutory reports.
  • Generate financial statements and management reports; contribute to financial analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Perform administrative finance-related tasks to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of accounting officer experience, ideally in a dynamic or cross-functional environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
